2011 Higher School Certificate (HSC) Mauritius laureate list- Jagessur Yogesh Koomar (Adolphe De Plevitz) and Chan Moi Fat (Ebene SSS) break the myth.

It had been for years a misconception by many parents to think that there are ‘star’ schools. This year’s results just came to prove one thing, it is students that create the school’s repute and not the reverse way. Two students from non ‘star’ schools Jagessur Yogesh Koomar (Adolphe De Plevitz) and Chan Moi Fat (Ebene SSS)  have simply shown that if a brilliant student stays in his school and keeps trust in him/herself he /she can still top the list. There is no such thing as a ‘star’ school, but star students indeed.
